Our product, Night Sky Earrings, are following along the NEIA gala theme of magic.
They are light and hypoallergenic. Our product is made from resin with silver flakes and multicolored pigment.
Night Sky Earrings are quite shiny and sparkly and purchasing them can add character to any outfit.
We started with sketching prototypes and brainstorming. Even at this early point, we knew we wanted to make night sky earrings.
Our group continued brainstorming, and we created a mood board to display all of our ideas. We couldn't wait to start making our vision into reality!
Our interview with Zi helped us a lot in marketing our earrings. They said they would spend on average $10-$15 dollars on earrings, but that the number could increase if they felt they were supporting a small business.
After waiting days for Cade's molds to print, we found out that they didn't work! Without a backup plan, we frantically got to work searching for alternatives
Atfer our replacements for Cade's molds arrived we began getting setup, and by next class we had started creating the earrings, which is what we've been doing ever since.
At the Sales Gala we will be doing a raffel of which 100% of the proceeds go to the Trevor Project,
a non-profit organization that helps young queer people.
